Workaround 1: Get some (slightly) longer screws and metal washers at the hardware store to raise the drive height.
Workaround 2: If you don't have a CD drive, get something like
this to mount the drive in the 5.25" bay.
I opted for the latter. The A2000's floppy bays are unusual in that only Commodore's floppy drives fit in them without a big gap - they're slightly taller than a standard half-height bay.
