Do you know who's maintaining DOpus4 these days? There's a new bug/feature that's been in the OS4 version since it came into being years ago. Whenever you uniconify the program it reloads the directory windows. And if you're like me, you have DOpus auto start iconified (as window) at boot time. And if you're also like me, you have the default directories set to be blank/empty. And if you reload a blank directory (same effect as pressing Enter in an empty path string) DOpus will load the directory it was started from. So whenever I go into DOpus after boot I'm presented with SYS:DirOpus4/ instead of blank windows.

Would love to be able to go back to the uniconify behavior that the OS3 version had!

I would love to see the bug crashing the system when changing the settings on an amiga not running the default resolution removed. (if such fix already isn't made)....
That would be all i need from dopus 4, the best file browes i have ever touched for any operating system. ever......

As far as the OS3 version is concerned, I believe that bug (system crashes when opening config window if screen is set to more than 8 colors) was fixed long ago. See here: http://aminet.net/package/util/dopus/DOpus416JRbin

The final OS3 version was 4.17beta21 and is pretty much rock solid on my OS3 and MorphOS systems. Hopefully it's still online somewhere. I remember reading that the source code for that beta series was lost, unfortunately.
