Version 1230scsi.device

(Ha ha, the title's an AmigaDOS command:-))

I'm on a mission to optimize my Amiga's disk operation speeds. I've got the IDE side sorted, but now it comes to SCSI.

I've got a DCE-built SCSI-Kit on my phase5 Blizzard1260. I'm using the SoftSCSI patch from Aminet which gives me a controller version of 8.1. As this patch is quite old, I'm wondering if it is in fact better to use the version burned into the onboard ROM? I think that's version 8.5, but I've heard there are bugs associated with it?:-?
