Great to see! Can you check some more modes using SYS:Prefs/Overscan and report back (with photos)?
Thanks!

but what kind of adapter are you using?

It's the standard Commodore silver box adapter, as seen in the first 2 pictures.

Interesting coincidence, the Dell monitor model number, 2320.

I noticed that, too :)
Good number.

Yeah!  Spill the secrets!!

I'm wondering if we would want/need to know what type of Amiga to VGA adapter people are using also??

With a monitor that actually syncs to Amiga frequencies, the type of adapter shouldn't matter, unless you're doing Genlock or Toaster work - those require some additional logic. Otherwise I believe it's just a change in physical shape from 23pin to 15pin.

Weird that DoublePAL doesn't work. Do you have VGAOnly in Devs:Monitors? There are a few screenmode editing utils on Aminet - you could probably get it working by tweaking it with one of those.

Anyway, I'll know soon enough myself - I've got an SR2320L coming in the mail :)

My own results with the Dell SR2320L from a quick test with my (PAL) A600:

NTSC works, a few pixels lost at maximum overscan
PAL works, a few pixels lost at maximum overscan
Multiscan works perfectly
DblNTSC works, but the top of the screen spills over onto the bottom of the screen at maximum overscan
DblPAL works perfectly
Euro72 works perfectly
HighGFX works perfectly
Euro36 does not work
Super72 does not work
HD720 does not work

There's a bit of vertical banding, and interlace modes seem to lose some minor horizontal detail, but given what others have said, it sounds like much of this can be fixed by adjusting the monitor settings (which I haven't even attempted yet). All in all, very glad to have this monitor available. And kudos to stevee617 for discovering it!

Hi,
Not sure if this has been answered yet, but has anyone tried the Dell ST2320L that is currently being sold by Dell. They Don't have a SR2320L listed (at least in Canada).
Thanks

Don't know if it's been tested, but I couldn't find any difference between the two based on published specifications and pictures. That doesn't mean much, though - I've been screwed by LCDs loudly proclaiming themselves as 15KHz-capable that have failed to handle Amiga modes.
