The installer probably isn't 64-bit filesystem friendly, meaning it thinks you have a negative amount of space on your hard drive. You
will do damage to your OS installation if you delete the contents of the fonts directory, and you will do damage to the original game disks if you delete fonts from there.
I say forget the game's installer and use the WHDLoad
package instead.
