Amiga 600/1200 Ram Cards

Will these work on the A1200 or A600 if so can they be configured as fast ram?

Nope, but these (probably) can. It's SRAM that you want. Those prices are absurd, though. I paid $25 for a 4MB card a number of years ago.

Why are the trap door expansions only 1 meg?

That's the maximum that those lines can address - same reason the A500 trapdoor can only do 512K. Those multi-meg A500 trapdoor expansions address different lines (Fast RAM, rather than Chip) through a secondary connection to Gary (usually). That wasn't a practical option with the A600's surface-mount design.
