I just put scripts with an IconX default tool into the same drawer. There's another tool called IconJ that executes tooltypes like shell commands. Put an icon with that into the directory, add:
assign duke3d: ""
to the tooltypes, and you're all set. It's beem a while, so I'm not certain if that's the case, but it should be okay.
