The build-quality of the CD32 controllers is quite poor. I have an NOS controller where the right shoulder button barely works. The reason? Globs of solder on the PCB contact are preventing the rubber pad inside from making contact to trigger the button. Pop open your controller to see what's going on, and remember that the last screw is under the serial number sticker - took me a while to figure that one out when I opened mine :crazy:
