Thanks for the info! I'm eagerly awaiting my own copy. :-)

The PreRelease sounds a bit rough on the compatibility/stability side of things. I was planning on bringing my AmigaOne up to college in the fall, but I may need to reconsider and bring my 4000T (or both :-)) unless the planned updates become available before then.

Seeking opinions from anyone who has used the prerelease so far: Do you think OS4-pre in its current state is usable/stable enough as a primary machine?

EDIT: Oh, a possible partial solution to the window Update concern: The utility T.H.E. can assign hotkeys to execute ARexx scripts, one of which updates the window. I have it set to my spacebar (the default, I think). Works nicely :-)
