The Micronik bus is extremely nitpicky with power. Keep adjusting that power cord, and hopefully it will eventually work. I was having trouble a few years back and reseating the ROMs actually seemed to help. My bus is acting up again, so I may try that procedure once more.
*EDIT* - I've also found greater difficulty in getting the bus functioning properly in the summer. The heat or humidity could be too much for it. There's no room for a fan in the Micronik tower, so I'm not sure how to cool it. Even leaving the side panel off doesn't help.
