All Prefs programs are on the Extras disk.

I'd use WB2.1 as your base - its directory hierarchy more closely resembles 3.0+. Plus there's bugfixes and better use of RAM.

Your boot disk should probably be unmodified apart from adding the contents of cfd.lha from Aminet - then put everything else on a Flash card in the PCMCIA slot.

Do not forget about the DEVS:system-configuration file, which - under KS1.x - was used to define the screen palette, pointer image, mouse speed, printer settings etc, however is still utilised under KS2.x/KS3.x.

I think that file is completely obsoleted by the ENVARC:Sys directory. Palette, pointer, printer, and input settings are all in there.
