As I said last time, the Norway is obsoleted by Poseidon's support for USB to Ethernet converters. Just get one of those, they're cheap!

I get speeds comparable to (and faster than) my old XSurf using an Algor and Linksys USB100TX. Just got 300KB/s on a test transfer.

Besides, the 1.xMB/s rates of other cards are just theoretical meximums. Never under any conditions have I seen a transfer that fast using such hardware.

The bottleneck on your Subway system is probably the Subway - the clockport doesn't have anywhere near enough bandwidth to get the full speed out of whatever's connected to the Subway.

If you've already got such an adapter, give it a try on your Zorro system and see how it fares. If it's still too slow for you, then I'll shut up about USB->Ethernet ;-)
