1D4 and 2B supposedly have "timing problems" which can cause problems with multiple expansions attached. I haven't heard of any problems with other revisions.
1A and 1B have additional clockport pins, so make sure to connect the correct ones if you use clockport peripherials. The revisions are very uncommon, however.
