When the program starts that has been causing trouble, I unplugged the HD from the bus line. Then when workbench came back up with the error, I plugged the HD back in, and hit retry.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Do NOT do that again! Amiga hardware is extremely sensitive, and ripping out cables while the power is on certainly can't he healthy for the machine. A2000 keyboards are fairly common, as Amiga keyboards go. Check ebay,
