The idea, I thought, was to attract new blood, not just impress old users.
I thought it was pointless having a start-up sound for AmigaAMP to be more like WinAMP, but it impresses some people, comforts them and makes them think that really, it's not so far removed from Windex after all.
Of course, we know that it's not far removed from Windex 'cause M$ copied Xerox, Apple, Amiga, GEOS, or anyone who looked like they might be inovative... :-D
