 I say Go for the Boing Ball, those checkmarks really represent Workbench and Not the Amiga computer, it looks nice if you do it right.
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

@Kindred of Babble-on

 Well this way:  The WindowsXP logo represents the OS and not the PC itself......the PC might be a Gateway or a DELL

The CheckMark is best as the OS logo forthe Amiga.....and the BoingBall as the logo for the Amiga computer..................there used to be a time when the checkmark was a logo for the Computer itself, such as the A1000......but after that it was never used for an amiga again as far as some sticker on the hardware...........and personally this is the way I prefer it...I like a separation in logos between the OS and the Computer...........Macs have an Apple as their computer logo and a big X for their OS (or a smiling computer for their OS logo previously) and PC's Have the Windows Logo for their OS and what ever logo their Computer is.....................to me The Boing Ball represents the Computer....and the Tick or checkmark represent Workbench or Amiga's OS........funny I was discussing this verysame thing the other day with someone :-)

@that_punk_guy

Hehe I just realized I misquoted your name by calling you Kindred of Babble-on and you did the same......hehe (you called me "Too Much Caffeine") those are our statuses here on Amiga.org.........I think I did it because I wasn't used copying and pasting names wich are highlighted such as they are now.

Also......I don't really think that The Logos had a historical background.........thats just my view on how it should be............although lately I have been liking the Boingball as the Logo for Workbench (OS4)but nevertheless, I think they should be separate as it would look more professional and wont confuse people.
