This is so Cool if it is True! But I am wondering, Does this mean that now Scala can display 24 bit backgrounds and does not need to dither anything anymore? because before, scala can only display 256 color maximum on an AGA machine or HAM8 mode but with fringing if you tried to put fly on text or brushes.
Also I have just discovered that InfoChannel 500 was NOT the last version of SCALA for the Amiga! a New version has just been released! its called InfoChannel Designer 3 and it costs approx. $1,550.
I saw it on the Scala website, and I had thought they completely dropped the Amiga. I guess not, maybe because of this new PowerPC thing going on. I hope it works for 68k Amigas with 68020 and above. It must be really good if it costs that much. Hope we can get a demo of it!
