@salocinx

Why do you want to downgrade it? is it for compatibility reasons?  Games to be more specific?

THen look no further than WHDLoad!  It will fix ALL your problems. It allows you to install games that werent meant to be installed to HD to be able to indeed install onto a Harddrive.

But you will need 2mb CHip RAM and perhaps 1 or 2mb or fast RAM via the PCMCIA port.

If you did still want to downgrade......then I recommend a Kickstart switcher, wich will allow you to install 2 Kickstart ROMS..........the 1.3 KS and the 3.1

also you can just simply do it by software............get yourself "ReloKick" on Aminet or somewhere and what it does is, reboot your Amiga into the KS1.3 ROM...........you will see the hand with the disk and all..........then you can load old games.

Also get a utility called: HalfandHalf, which forces your Amiga that has 1mb CHIPRAM to have 512 Chip and 512 fast RAM.

but of course, these are all secondary to haing WHDLoad.

CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...
