@ematech

Hey Emanuele..........I support you! :-)

I know how you feel..........But you must not give them room for insults or reasons for them not to like it...................I would think many of their opinions were justified because they know the Amga has only 8 bit sound and cant really display 16 million color output at 1024 x 768.

But you fix this Problem (and NO I dont mean get a gfx card)  You just have to add a few things to the A1200 that still makes it a regular A1200 but cool.

One of the secrets is to create you images and music or sounds on a higher end Amiga or Mac or PC..especially gfx......and then once your done.convert the image to 720 x 480 in either HAM8 or 256 floyd Steinberg dithering.........and the image will look ten times better than if you just created it on a plain Amiga. Same with Video Clips....you capture them with a 3CDD DV camera and convert it to frames using Quicktime pro and recomile the frames into a HAM8 Anim8 animation and it looks massively cool. (this is just to give you an idea what I mean by capturing or creating stuff on higher end machines)

Here is what you need and I will explain why:

MASPlayer MP3 decoder
Subway USB adaptor
Internal Slimline CDROM drive
Wireless Mouse (Cocolino adaptor)
a Mini professional looking Audio Mixer ($50)
portable LCD monitor
Make your Workbench look Professional.

(suggestion.........paint everything black)

Why all this?  well because people are closed minded and usually dont think out of the box. They think Amiga is stuck in the 1980's and do not know that Amigas can play MP3's and AudioCD and just do cool modern stuff that still competes with PC's and in some cases still amazingly better.

I use My CD32/SX32 to Do Live Visuals at parties, events and Night clubs..........they also have Mac users and PC users coem in with their laptops...........but they guy who works there told me he likes what I do much better (even though I think I suck) probably because I run Visuals usually at 720 x 480, while the other VJ's using laptops run crappy looking 320 x 240  video clips most of the time.  Even though I still think it looks cool. Heck I use them a times too.

but anyway, people are amazed when they see me running AMPlifier and ask me "They have WinAMP for Amiga?????"

here is my Amiga 600 and CD32/SX32 (not in picture)   which I used for SoundFX 2 days ago, and the CD32/SX32 last night for visuals for a screen play and got paid $225.

Just click on my name here and look at my Photo album in my Profile  (at the bottom.

CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...
