You did the right thing buying a CD32 :-) I have one hooked up to the max! 128 Mb of RAM and a 40 gigabyte HD.......adding a DVDRW drive soon! Also my CD32 plays MP3's perfectly in 18 bit sound with my hardware MASPlayer decoder.
Yes you can play PAL games..........some PAL games still run in NTSC mode just with the lower screen slightly cut off..................to enable PAL mode.just hold both Mouse buttons down right when you turn the machine on (Or actually right when you see the CD light go on or a second before it)
And you will get a menu..........select Disply and choose PAL.then boot the game thats already in the CD Drive (Or boot it in before you select boot.
Get your self an SX-1 or SX32 pro (RARE) this will turn your CD32 into a full Amiga 1200 adding all the ports and a faster processor and memory and Hardrive.
