@AmiXDel

 I do this all the time, and was just doing it today as well.

 I have a DV camera that I record Footage with at for the highest quality capture (I recommend it)

then I transfer the footage viz FireWire to the PC. I import it into Quicktime Pro and convert it into JPEG frames and burn it to CD and transfer it to My Amiga....Whalla! its that easy.

then I import the JPG frames into Image Studio 2.3 or PPaint 6.6 and batch convert them to IFF in either 16 colors with FLoyd Steinberg Dithering (looks great) or 128 colors.  Then using SCALA MM300 I compile into an anim5 or anim32 (for superfast playback from SCALA)

Its sounds like a long process, but its quite simple really and effective. an 040 is recommended for faster conversion from jpg to iff.

I also have a VLab Parallel port version which I may use occasionally.

CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...
