@SidVicious

 First off the 1mb fast RAm your talking about for the A600, if its the kind that goes under the trapdoor of the A600, then its NOT Fast RAM.....its CHIP Ram (Graphics memory) which is good to get by the way............but if you want FAST Ram as well, then you have to buy 1mb, 2mb or 4 mb PCMCIA cards that go in the little slot on the left side of the A600. These are RARE!  but I have a 1mb one that I may be willing to sell for $16.00.  $145.94 USD for a 1942 is WAYYYYYYY too expensive.....I just sold mine recently for $26.00 USD although that was a bargain they really are worth about $70.00......the 1942 is a superb monitor.

 As far as running Highres Interlaced without Flickering.....it is possible.......get:
MagicTV.lha from Aminet and you will see wonders :-)

Also you can get Visual Prefs and MUI and change the colors on the borders to make them flicker alot less!

But MagicTV is the easier solution for an A600 thats low on memory.

 Yes you can install a GFX card on the A1200 internally and also on the A600....but external sort of............its called the Graffitti......its not really a GFX card but enhances Games and Mac emulation.

And NO, your english does not suck :-)

The work area in Workbench 2.05 feels too small. =(

Yes!  Use Super High Res interlaced!  it will give you plently of space but will flicker like crazy............again.if possible use MagicTV (although I think it only works in 8 color mode or 16 color mode..............but SuperHighRes Interlaced only allows 4 colors max If I remember correctly.

 its nice to have the 1942 for all this as the image is crisp and clear and has an anti glare screen unlike the 1084s
