It's my understanding that the M-Tec doesn't work with CPU slot HDD interfaces, only sidecar. Major reason why I never bought one.

Don't think it's a timing issue.  I tried a reset after booting to see if it would eventually be recognized and no joy there.

I'm thinking methuselas is right about the cpu expansions not working.

I had a kipper2 RAM expansion and wasn't surprised when it wasn't recognized.  Was just hoping the  IDE interface would be able to sneak in there!

Fortunately, I just picked up and IVS Trumpcard so guess I'll add that to the machine.

NUTS!

Derringer's worked with ADDIDE, but M-Tec's didn't even work with the 2091s. I should have gotten an E-Matrix 530, when I passed on the M-Tech, but instead went for the Apollo 2030. Never got the thing to work. Ended up getting stolen with my a3000.
