, the poor stay poor due to lack of proper medical care, the IRS being a hound that goes after people who make honest mistakes rather than those cheating them and of course the myriad of idiots that run the place.
Isn't *THAT* the truth. I told the IRS about my previous employer not having us fill out W4s and I9s and apparently she hasn't for the past 8 years, for *ANY* of her employees. She didn't mail mine to me, had another current employee "sign" for it and then didn't even get my frakking name right on my w2. Their rebuttal:
"What do you want us to do about it?"
Seriously? This woman broke the law, by having someone else "sign" for my personal tax information (illegal), didn't mail it to me by Jan. 31st (illegal) and didn't have anyone fill out W4s and I9s at the start of employment (meaning, we're contract, but she took out taxes, which again, would be illegal).
She was just trying to cheat the system and they let her.....
[OT] - Has anyone stepped forward and asked for backups to reboot the forum? Just sayin'.....
