@ Matt & JJ,

You guys have to pay a license fee for BBC TV and Radio???? *THAT* is F*CKED UP!!!!!

And Matt is right and SPOT ON about the Record Companies screwing artists. Their big thing now is stating that it cost so much to produce albums and what not, but I can tell you, as I worked for a CD replication facility in Texas, it doesn't cost them sh!t to make those CDs and being someone that's done graphic design work for albums, typically you're paid by the *ARTIST* for said work, not the *COMPANY*.

And trust me, you don't get paid jack, either, 'cos they aren't. Only bands, like Metallicops make money off their CD sales and let's remember that Lars is still paying off his gold plated dolphin pool (someone will get this.....) That's why bands like Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead dropped their parent companies. Hell, Trent Reznor all but abandoned Nothing Records. How many artists are still under that company?

Fact is, the entertainment industry is criminal, to say the least and they're in their final death throes, yet are fighting tooth and nail to prevent it, but refuse to change or compromise. They just keep churning out crappy, bubblegum pop and fire bands that didn't do as well as expected, plus massive layoffs of company employees to keep their figures in the "black" where they want them.

Most entertainment companies read from Medhi Ali's private journals, so it seems.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Well done.

You *DO* realize that my comments were directed towards Bloodline and JJ, two people I've known for years and consider friends?

It is, but it's obviously pretty easy to avoid, or so I've been told by my uncle who has never paid it, despite having lived his entire life in England.

Yeah, there's a few state taxations, here, that just make no sense and people don't pay them, but I guess I just assumed that since we have public broadcasting here, which is free, they have it there, free.

Then again, I almost never watch TV or listen to the radio anymore, so if I were taxed, I probably wouldn't pay it either....

No, due to the fact that your comment was unaddressed and posted in a public forum, I didn't realise that at all. However, what I *DO* now realise, and almost find unbelievable, is that you're attempting to have a private conversation in a public internet forum. I *DO* also realise that this forum provides you and your "friends" with a free and easy to use private PM service. Question is: *DO* you realise this?

Oooooh, I got your penis swelling, didn't I? See, I removed my post, 'cos I thought it was in poor taste, but now I realize it's a moot point. You'll never learn. You're too uneducated to know better. If you notice in my post, I put at the very top, "@ Matt & JJ". Last I checked, this was an *OPEN* forum and I asked a question of two people, whom I know, openly. I don't remember directing it towards you, nor do I remember asking your opinion on this open forum, but you chose to give it to me anyways, whine whine. 8D

You *DO* know what open means, right?

Yes, I think I may very well be above you and that fact has nothing to do with your ingrained inferiority complex at me being British and you being an American - it's simply because you're not very bright.
I could care less you're British. My Mum's from Enniskillen, so I'm already one up on you. ;)

And you're right, I'm not very bright. My skin tone is rather dark, due to my father being Native American. Trust me, I hardly have an inferiority complex over the mentally challenged.

You might like to consider the fact that, in this thread, I've expressed nothing but my dislike of the British Broadcasting Corporation. Notice the word British in that title? The BBC, for many, is a worshipped British institution. In many cases, adulation of the BBC simply boils down to the fact that it's an internationally recognised "British" brand and so some people get a sick jingoistic pride from its existence. They don't seem to consider the fact that the BBC is virtually a private enterprise that makes 100s of milions in pure profit every year, yet still demands people pay them an unjustified government enforced tax. The BBC don't ask for this money in a nice "democratic" way either, there is no public debate as to whether the people want it. No, they do it in a typically socialist/communist gangster-like fashion, full of threats towards supposedly "free" adult individuals.
And once again, my response was *NEGATIVE*, in that I couldn't believe you pay a tax on broadcasting services. Again, this wasn't directed at you, nor once did I even say anything about you, until you got hostile. Your tone, from the get-go, was atrocious, but this is an open forum, hence why I removed the majority of my post.

I'm clearly not a blind patriot (unlike your average American) but I'm also not going to listen to the illinformed _opinion_ of a foreigner who doesn't live in this country and so isn't subject to the BBC's tax. He's not expected to pay the tax - I am. Clear?
No, but you're what we, who have served in the military, refer to as "Whiskey Tango". Since you're so intelligent, compared to me, I'll let you figure this one out on your own. ;)

Yes, I'm not expected to pay the tax, that correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not, 'cos I actually pay attention, you *DON'T* pay and in fact, *REFUSE* to, yet when I agree and say it's "F*CKED UP" (I keep quoting myself, as I'm a bit confused if you're actually able to read or not!), you keep saying my opinion doesn't matter, but my opinion is IT'S "F*CKED UP" THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY THAT??!??

LULZ!

And yes, imo, Jack Nicholson is one of the greatest actors to have ever existed. Far better than any of the popular lilly-livered British actors - with their "polite and gentlemanly" characterisations of British people. So bang goes your theory that I'm some kind of bigoted Brit.
Brother, I can guarantee you that you're a "bigoted Brit". You probably hate people, for the sake of hating. Daddy must have touched you in all those private, special places when Mummy wasn't looking to have such a bitter attitude. I'm going to quote you verbatim in toto:

"I'm clearly not a blind patriot (unlike your average American) but I'm  also not going to listen to the illinformed _opinion_ of a foreigner who  doesn't live in this country and so isn't subject to the BBC's tax."

Now, you *DO* know what "verbatim in toto" means, right? I mean, since you're clearly smarter than I, I'd hate to use phrases that only stupid people understand.

And since *YOU* claim that you're not paying the tax, 'cos you don't feel the need to do so and it's unnecessary, doesn't *MY* agreeing with you, stating that it's "F*CKED UP!* kinda make you an oxymoron? So the "illinformed _opinion_ of a foreigner" that pretty much sides with you, is as eloquently as you put it, stupid???

:roflmao:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Wow. You're a few short of a sixer, huh? You might want to go elsewhere. Them thar "foreigners" are all over the place at Amiga.org!

Quote
Agree, if they have a functioning braincell, they'll easily recognise the colossal magnitude of your bull-sh!t. I certainly appretiate it - it's impressive. I must say.
Nah, most of them have known me long enough to know that I'd find more satisfaction in correction of your English grammatical and spelling errors. They'd also snicker, considering that I pretty much agreed with everything you said, in 3 words mind you, yet you're arguing with me over it.

I believe the correct term here, is LULZ!

I've been a member of this forum since 2006 with a total of 56 posts. I spend my life trolling dimwits like yourself - clearly.
Nope. It just tells the majority of the people on here, that most of your words hold little merit around here, 'cos most of us are a bit more than a community. We've been around here for a long time and stay, 'cos we love the Amiga and the people that reside on the site.

Here, though, I don't want to bruise your ego, so to make you feel better:

One for me, Bloodline and JJ....

Did I miss anyone else who got butthurt?

You can fill that out and send it to "igotbutthurtbyamiga4ever@gmail.com" to lodge a complaint.
