I believe they have; you will find in depth Linux + X1000 information in the Hyperion forum

Off topic:
If the new Cyrus X5000 motherboard is released by itself, it might be nice to "go crazy" with its build; although the AmigaOne Fractal designed case with the engraved Boing Ball door is to die for. :-)
