I get routine ramlib errors with OS3.9 installs (mostly associated with a botched setpatch command) on a Mediator install.  A second attempt to reinstall 3.1 through 3.9 almost always works -- well has never not worked, but there will be a failure someday.

The Mediator can install on 3.1 with Picasso96 just fine, by the way.

Post Script: The Config program will set the ENVARC variables you tell it.  And I can make out anything from the SnoopDos file; what does PCIinfo say?  And P96 Debug?

A few screen shots of the P96 screen during the screen settings would help.

P96 setup is tricky; the list screen modes and clock times are approximate, for a 60Hz monitor, and monitor specific (not all monitors show all screen modes). The approximate size is listed for my Dell ST2310L.

Picasso96 Settings -- For a 60 Hz Monitor

Resolution: 640 x 480
CLK: 29.82
808 520

Resolution: 800 x 600
CLK: 38.02
1032 640

Resolution: 1120 x 832
CLK: 80.44
1440 910

Resolution: 1152 X 900
CLK: 84.38
1522 931

Resolution: 1024 x 768
CLK: 84.38
1336 800

Resolution: 1280 x 1024
CLK: 108.90
1600 1126

Resolution: 1920 x 1080
CLK: 165.38

Well, it would have to cross both the Mississippi and the Mason-Dixon line, but I have several A4000's and 3 to 4 Mediators with VooDoo and Radeon Cards, and a lot of experience in configuring them, so...
