You know the USA has this odd thing no one ever uses, I guess because it belongs to the government, and just like ObamaCare it can't be trusted; you may know it as cash and just like the postal Money Order, it is just as worthless as the paper it is printed on.  SO just send me what ever is in your wallet or bank account, and I'll dispose of it properly.

As long as it saves the life of one person, then your statement is incorrect.

One simply gets the Health Care system they voted for!  No more, no less.

Yeah 60% of all personal bankruptcies in the US are due to medical costs.

Odd, because the first one who receives a letter that they are no longer owed anything from said bankrupt party, is the physician.

Back in the 90's, I recall buying and selling Amiga equipment from the usenet group   comp.sys.amiga.marketplace

Everything was CoD back then (That's cash-on-delivery, not call of duty)...

Before I had a credit card in the '80s, I paid by check and had to wait a minimum of 4 weeks for it to clear before they would even consider shipping it.

I was joking about health care in the context of people not trusting cash or postal money orders; could we stick to Amigas for discussion.

The "T" under discussion needs pictures to loosen the pocket books.

These are large well designed machines with well thought out layouts and durable motherboards.  They upscale well with 5 external bays, have two video slots plus have both a reliant SCSI 2 and IDE bus. There are extra cut out ports for USB, video, SCSI3, etc.; they have a reset switch and an external AT-style battery connector for those unwilling to remove their coin cell. Their only failings are weak onboard sound and an internal hard drive location above the CPU card.

You will never regret owning one.

I just added a three hdd drive bay above the PSU on mine. Didn't have to modify any of the original hardware and it fit nicely.:biglaugh:

That is a large space above the PSU and I put a slot there and mounted my IDE to CF card layout so I can just reach back and pop one in without moving the case as it sit under my desk.

These machines are tough!  Agreed about the harddrive location.  I had to take the front off the machine to remove that when doing some cleaning inside.  I was tempted to leave that section of bracer out but it appears to be part of the stabilization of the case.  It's like a tank compared to my PCs.

There is no daughtercard due to the room inside to lay everything out on a single board.

Having a coin style battery was very nice as well.

My only wish is that this had been an 060 machine instead of an 040.

I did cut a small 1 X 3 cm slot into the mid-brace to fit my CVPPC card.  Oh, those two serial cables running thru the brace are a bit of a pain, but I carefully Dremeled off the SCSI terminator to open up those port holes and moved it and the cable out of the way.
