In the end I think its clear that a lot of people are having less than satisfactory results with the picture quality and we just have to wait [for] some firmware / driver updates to fix these issues! N...

I've got two MK2's in both my A4000 Amy's, but I use USA spec Westinghouse 1080X1920 monitors; the 32 inch one is a HDTV with VGA & HDMI input, and the 42 inch is just a monitor sans TV (VGA, HDMI, 2 DVI, and composite).  Both work very well with the Indivision MK2's with some minor vertical banding seen when no video output is displayed.

I personally think it is a pixel clock mistiming issue between the AGA MK2 and the monitor, and yes it is soon to be addressed. Jens is a good guy with a lot of Amiga hardware "on his plate."  Better for us users all around though.  I'd prefer him working for us, than not

I use VGA so I can use an external monitor switch between the AGA MK2 output and Radeon 9200 output.  My 32" HDTV has only one VGA and one HDMI, and lacking both a DVI/HDMI switch, I use VGA.  The other way involves using the remote to swith from HDMI to VGA each time I switch between the two.  Same problem with the 42" monitor with the 2 DVI inputs, I need to use the remote to go between.  HDMI switches are abundant, but I'd prefer a DVI-d switch, much harder to locate (KVM's are quite expensive).
