Here's a good one....I thought it was crazy and then I saw that it has a grafx card, toaster, and something else(can't tell).

Then I realized it was crazy again when I saw the description..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-Amiga-2000-HD-/130927097472?pt=US_Vintage_Computers_Mainframes&hash=item1e7bdcf680#ht_62wt_1161

From the HDD you can tell that it is attached to a A2090 MFM/SCSI controller, and the far right card is  a KitchenSync card without the cables/connectors. I'm guessing there is an accelerator card in there too.  Granted all that and the control and connector box for the KitchenSync come with it, it might fetch $600+.

I have a better one I'd sell for less: 1gb HDD, CDROM, Indy ECS, new battery, and PA-2000 14MHz 68000 with 68881.

Does it come with the original box?
No, but I have a pristine A4000T in its original box completely unused except to upgrade (CSPPC, Mediator + 9200, Deneb, CD/DVD-RW, ZorRam 256, SCSI Card reader) with dual boot OS 3.9/4.1 and only used to test upgrades with unopened disks, manuals, keyboard and mouse.  It is a backup clone of my main A4000T.

What would be THE REAL benefit of having the Bridgeboard card VS SBC (Single Board Computer) with same or better specs?
$400 vs $100 for SBC.
I have Pentium SBC 266MHz with 128MB RAM in my A2000, runs all early 3D games very well, Win95 etc. File transfer is done via LAN.

I have a year 2000 Celeron 500 MHz notebook that runs the heck out of those games and sits quite out of the way on top of my Amiga; no need for KVM or any such crap. File transfer via DVD, Ethernet, USB  and even floppy.

In the nuts.  I'd bet half the time they know or are pretty certain the stuff doesn't work.  I bet there are a couple who legitimately don't have a TV.  The only reason I have a TV is the roomie, but even then two of my PC monitors have composite and S-video input.

I haven't had a tv in years;  I do have a Westinghouse 42" monitor that I watch video on from my Roku (mostly Netflix and Amazon).  The monthly cost of cable and Satellite were 10 fold higher.

It appears he is just selling his password access to a site that has illegal copies of the books and for the full 99 USD will burn a BD disk; he does not say he is hosting the site.  So it is just the same as providing password and access to a site with any old violated copyright material such as movies, music, games, porn, etc.

I'm sure the legalities are the same and we should not shame him, but encourage him to locate a good lawyer and bail bondsman to keep him from becoming just another prison b-tch.

When you look closely, you can see him taking the picture with his phone in the reflection; what you can't see is any evidence that all that stuff is in a "Clean Room."  His facial hair looks like it would just fit between the heads and the platter.

Oh My God!  There is an Amiga 1000 for sale on eBay by a US (New Hampshire) seller for $4,000 -- pick up only with the transaction to be held in the local police parking lot due to the price.  Let me see on how many levels this is just fricking strange...

Is New Hampshire the "Lost Touch with Reality" state?

Mitchie?  Jay Miner's dog?  -- So what is being smoked in Vermont?  What ever is smoked in police parking lots in New Hampshire must blow that dude's socks off!

You know the term "Dude" goes back to biblical times; there is a whole book of the old testament named after it, "Deuteronomy."

Ha ha.  Does that mean I could sell my 4000 for $16,000?  Since we already threw out logic with this one....

And the "Ultra rare" claim?  No where does it say either Commodore or Amiga.  It could be a cable for a SPARC Workstation...

That price would be in the low ballpark when it was new and being sold to TV stations and video production studios to replace their $60,000 to $100,000 equipment as a turn-key device.

Oh, he finally saw the light and dropped it to a simple $1000.

There is a "erberg2010" selling a "New In Box" 4000/030 for $1200 who wants everyone to believe that the mustard colored from plastics occurred from light that spilled into the box via cracks.
