The Surgeon
« on: November 05, 2006, 12:50:26 AM »
Found a good old game I used to play on my A500 back in the beginning of the 90s. It's called "The Surgeon" and as the title imposes it'a game where you are a surgeon.

The first case is a 65 year old man with aortic aneurysm. The problem is that I don't remember how i clamp the aorta and suture him togheter. Does anyone else remember?

Hehe. Wonder how many times I've actually killed the guy. I like the fact that he wakes up and screams after going in to a asystole ECG (no cardiac electrical activity).

I will ask one of my professors. :-)

Never owned this game, but always thought that it was freeware (because of what the About menu saies). Have at least completed a couple of surgeries after trial and error.

Actually it looks like Dr. Myo Thant produced both of them1 (The Surgeon and Life and Death). So that is why they look so similar. I'll need to play Life & Death to compare them myself. :-)
