Just wanted to ask - Is the voodoo the only GFX card that works?
Has anyone got a list of compatible hardware?
Thanks

Pretty much...
Unless you can find an old S3 ViRGE SX card lying around somewhere, but there's no advantage to be gained in running ViRGE in place of Voodoo.

Well as you mention it...
I have a S3Trio64V+ here.. PCI slot.
Any good (Tempory untill i get a voodoo)?

The S3Virge worked like a charme here. Definitly when they got H/W supported! Ofcourse the Voodoo is much faster, the S3 still allows you to browse at a decent speed and resolution. Contact me if you would like a S3, maybe i have one here floating around.

Well im in the UK - how much for the GFX card with shipping? I can get a Voodoo for £18 here.

Not sure if the Trio is supported?
It's the same chipset as the old Cybervision 64 (note: not the 3d version which was equipped with ViRGE).
All you can do is check the supplied driver documentation and see if it's supported...
