I want to view a .pic file.
It's a file from Aminet, called mswitch (an electric scheme to build a mouse/joystick switcher)
can't find a program on Aminet, or anywhere, to view this file. Maybe there's an jpeg of this scheme or so, or there's somewhere a (freeware) program to view this file. Anyhow, I can't find it.
thanks in advance

Uhm, it's just an IFF-ILBM. Either view it with an Amiga viewer, or rename .pic to .ilbm and load it with photoshop.

thank you very much, KennyR :-) that helped a lot
here (http://www.pictview.com/descript.htm) did I find a viewer for all these kinds picture files (for MSDOS)
-
just so you know, ACDSee (http://www.acdsystems.com/English/index.htm) can also view IFF's.
this is because it was written by an amiga programmer. and it works very nicely, btw.

YEEEEEEHAAAAAAWW!
my joystick/mouse switch works
I directly soldered it correct!
that is..
only with an original Atari joystick it works for 100% properly
and probably it supports only a 1button joystick
with other joysticks, I have to klick the left mouse button continuously, while these joysticks don't have an autofire function as far as I know.
Any thoughts on this?

There was a dedicated adaptor for Amiga called RoboShift and had a
little green LED to confirm it was switched between mouse/joystick.
I unfortunately bought a 2-way adaptor which (when a mouse was plugged
in) would make random inputs that would mess up joystick control.
Go find a RoboShift if you can, they're supposed to be good. Full
buttons etc.
:-)
Possibly even CD32...

ah well, the joystick I use now works fine, and I got a lot of time used with soldering the whole stuff. It's MY pride, I made it work
I could also solder two leds on it, but they mentioned in the manual that you might need an extra external power supply
2 buttons SHOULD work though, the right mouse button works, (it doesn't matter on wich of the two connectors you put on the joystick or mouse)
anyhoo, thanks for advice :-)
