Title: Redoing my A4k tower project, let me see yours!
Post by: redrumloa on June 27, 2004, 05:38:53 AM
What did I get myself into? The more I get into it, the more changes I am making and the bigger the project is getting :-o

As most of you have seen THESE (http://anachronismindustries.com/projects/4kt/) prehistoric pics, I am using this case but it is getting totally reworked.

What I'd like to see is pictures of other people's A4000 or even A3000 tower concersion. More specifically the back of the tower. Some pics please? I'm trying to absorb all ideas I can:-D

Here is a scan of the custom I/O panel I did for a Mac Beige G3 to ATX tower hack a while back. I have also done Amiga tower hacks but they were so far back I don't have any pictures.

Hi Red

it seems a really good job, indeed :-)

I've just discovered, that even a PowerTower4000, isn't enough for a highly expanded 4000.

I'm trying to do some mods on it (from the cooling POV).

The only suggestion that i could give is:

why don't design it , with in mind a tower backpane? The Ateo style, like yours, even if cheaper, has less Zorro slot on it.

Otherwise, if you have in mind to use it with the Prom, so . .  .welldone :-)

Ciao

I think it was too large.  I resized it and dumped it in to the assorted hardware catagory of the image gallery.  Let me know what you think  :-D
