I simply miss the old times i had with the Amiga...I remember when i got my first A1200-system back in 1994...What a time it was, and just before Commodore went backrupt...
I remember the times i expanded it even further, first with an 040 CPU, then in tower and finally into a 240Mhz PowerPC 603e accelerator-card with a BlizzardVisionPPC-graphic board...
That were impressive times. I was running games like Doom, Heretic and such..I had a lot of fun playing them. Even that the PCs were slightly more advanced, i didn't mind cause i was crusing with style..I had OS3.9 with Boing Bag 2..A nice setup...I was making music with OctaMED SoundStudio, writing documents in WordWorth...What a breeze it was...So enjoyable..so inspirating...God, what a time!
Now, i look forward to enjoy a new area of fun with my forthcoming A1G4XE-system. One of my greatest plans are to create music on it with the TerraTec 512i Digital PCI-soundcard...I really look forward to that...:-), and emulating the classic Amiga..Oh yeah!
:-) :-) :-D :-D ;-) ;-) :-o :-o 8-) 8-) :-) :-) :-D :-D ;-)

Yaa! I remember when I got my 1st Amiga. It was an A500 "early 90's"
and I did a little proggy to design subwoofer boxes, done in amiga
basic. Imagine my surprise when it wouldn't work when I plugged it in
to my new "sort of" A2000 W/accelerator. Dam that Bill Gates fellow.

Hate Bill Gates....But don't worry. The x86 time of domination is long over..Now a new area has begun...The Amiga's return to power..!
Amiga Power! Here we go again! :-) :-) :-D :-D :-D

A whole bunch of guys regularily came over to play CrossFire I
and Payback. They all have beefy PC:s, but split-screen
rules every time. And this was no more than a year
ago! :-D
Nothing like a four-player shooutout in any of those two
games. That's why I got to get Crossfire 2...
Used to be a lot of Moonstone back in the day too.

Hmmm
Should I or shouldnt I be posting here?
Aw what the heck!
I got my first Amiga in September 99.
It was an Amiga 600.
What a day it was. Pouring down with rain, I went to my mates to pick it up. Went out the door clutching it in my hands, and BOOM it landed in a puddle out of my grasp. Lost the F4 key...never found it and it was all muddy. :-(
Got home, gave it a clean and plugged it in. Started loading all the oldies Cannon Fodder, Legend. It was great!!! :-D
And then just over a year later I got my A1200 Magic pack. With all that cool software all brand new.
And a few weeks ago I got my AmigaOne. Its a shame I dont like Linux but when OS4 comes I'm sure I will love it!!!

I got my first Amiga, an A1000 in 1987 and had loads of fun, but I must say that my greatest memory of my Amiga was shortly after upgrading to an A2000 and installing a Supra 2400zi modem. Once I connected to my first BBS it was like opening up a whole new world (not to mention all that pirate software, ;)). A close second on the list has to be booting for the first time using a harddrive. I bought a SCSI controller at World of Amiga in NYC ('90 or '91) and then had to wait to replenish my savings in order to afford the $550CAD for a Quantum 105 MB hard drive. Yeah I know, I could buy a whole new computer for that amount today, but oh it was sweet to turn that baby on and not have to wait more than 10 seconds.
