Title: bsplit help pleeeaaaase
Post by: hunstonejw on June 22, 2004, 01:51:40 PM
I have downloaded bsplit on my pc to break up an adf so i can tranfer it to my 1meg a500

when i run bsplit i have tried different things

-dragging and dropping the adf file into bsplit
-typing ik.adf in the dos prompt
-typing ik.adf 220 ik in the dos prompt (e.g. name of adf-size to split to - destination name)

No matter what i try i always get the same result. Just one file ik.001

It is meant to split the adf into 4 files ik.0001 ik.002 ik.003 ik.004    but i only ever get ik.001

the file appears to be virtually the same size as the original  ik.adf 880kb    ik.001 881kb ????????????????

can someone PLEEEEAAAASE help me.

Which "bsplit" are you using.  I just did a Google search to find one to download and try and I came up with lots of different versions.

I use a DOS program called FILECUT.EXE (full name File-Cutter v1.0 written by Yen Chui Tin (Stannon Yen)) that I've had around for years when I have to move larger than floppy files.  If you want a copy I can send it to you.
