Title: Aweb 3.5 Beta released
Post by: Kraftwerk on June 22, 2004, 12:58:44 AM
The new Aweb 3.5 Beta can be found here

http://aweb.sunsite.dk/

(too bad I had to post this with Ibrowse, because with the new Beta it did not work)

good news!

(er, even though i use ibrowse, just now...)

I need to see how this shapes up against ibrowse and voyager, and - more importantly - how my site looks

Greetings,
Great news!
I hope it fixes the Email problems I've encountered lately. I can't log in using AWEB on mail Yahoo!. I can't test it now, I'm at work and I don't have UAE here. When I get home I'll DL it ASAP.

Ok, Aweb 3.5 Beta will work once you make the changes
to the privacy settings as listes in the FAQ. Make sure
"Suppress Referer while browsing" is turned off and
no RFC 2109 cookies.

Then it works with the forums.

Even Yahoo. see to work, although I could not read some of
the buttons. It also has some problems with the layout, but
it was useable.

it is a 020 executable with debugging enabled.

Can someone try with AWeb3.5 to go to:

http://www.audiolabs.it

and click on Plugins on the top of the page?

On a real Amiga (AmiTCP).

Cheers

PS- just reported working on Peg-Mos

I am not at all sure how to do this?

Any help please....

Thanks,

Mike....

Hi Kraftwerk

here if i turn off RCF 2109, i can't login nor post-answer in the Forum.

The app is still slow due the debug enabled (and the 020 exe too).

A lot of Enforcer hits "Aweb retreive" related.

Probably something screwed in the Preferences . . .don't know.

Anyway, a good work respect the 3.4 one.

Ciao

BTW- i'm posting from AWeb3.5 too even if with some problems.

Small UPDATE :-)

with a little bit of Preferences fine tuning, AWeb3.5 works really better than yhe previous 3.4.

Without bebug enabled and with an optimized version . . .will be a very interesting new  browser IMHO.

Make sure you turn off the "referer" as well, not just the RF cookies.

Yep, I have seen Kraftwerk 3 times in concert now. Back in '81, '97 and just last April.

For those not knowing what it is all about, go to www.kraftwerk.com

Aweb 3.5 really is an improvement
