I have removed one floppy from an A4000 and want to add it to another A4000 that already has got one. Now I have already found out that it´s not as easy as I thought. There seem to be 6 pins on the back of the floppy, and I assume that the standard setting is DF0. Now can anyone tell me how to set the other floppy so it will be recognized as DF1 ??? I prefer to ask it first before I start experimenting ...

AFAIK, you should only need to change the motherboard jumper (J351), not any jumpers on the drive itself. At least this is the way it worked on my A3000.

Tried that. Then after startup my screen turns to light green (or is it yellow ??) ... tried every possible connection of the floppy cable ...
Now I removed the jumper again and use only one floppy. At startup I still get a light green screen but then the floppy boots up to OS 3.1 ... do I need to worry ???

Have tried again. Have placed jumper on 351 and connected two A4000 floppies. None of them boots up now unless I insert a bootable floppy in both and then they both boot up and then I get the Insert-floppy-kick3.1 screen ...

Sorry, it seems that the A4000s were shipped with dodgy cables. Check the information here from the A4000 Hardware Guide.
