Hey everyone what's the best way to get more juice into the stock A1200 ready for upgrades?

Thanks

The best thing to do in my opinion is to use a PC PSU as they are easily obtainable, reasonably cheap and provide more than enough power to work with a highly upgraded Amiga computer.

A good guide to follow is this:

http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/amiga_hacks/Amiga_Power_supplies/body_amiga_power_supplies.html#Rewiring_your_Amiga_power_lead

Simply cut the end of your Amiga PSU cable off and then wire it up to the correct wires from your ATX connector on the PSU.

It's not too difficult at all and has the best results by far.
