Hi Guys,
I have been using UAE for quite some time now. After ditching my Amiga 1200 on ebay recently I was looking for a solution to use all my old CD32 games on UAE.
The cdrom device seems to be working quite fine, just a matter of finding an Akiko (is that right?) / CD32 emulator for the Amiga I thought.
Where can I get one of these? I cant find on on aminet anywhere, am I looking in the wrong place?
Has anyone done anything like this already? How?
Cheers,
n.

Just more info...
I remember for my a1200 CDROM I got a driver disk from Zappo (Archos) that had some cd32 emulation doo-dah on it.
Anyone know where I can get this from?

What's your email address Naeem?

For Akiko do a regular web search or check links on UAE websites. You also need a proper CD32 rom file (not just a regular 3.1 one), and the only legal way without a real CD32 is getting a copy of Amiga Forever from Cloanto ;-)

Cheers Holley,
But you seem to be suggesting I should emulate the CD32 on UAE, as a solution.
It might end up being the only way in which case fine I'll do it.
But I would much rather leave my UAE be an A1200 and get the Zappo / Archos SW that emulated the Akiko chip for the Amiga. Sure it doesnt play all cd32 titles, but it will play all the ones I have (cos I played them on an A1200 + CDROM in the first place).
I did find the Zappo / Archos website but completely zilchon any Amiga product there I'm afraid.
Anyone know if this (cd32) emulator made it to a Fish disk or other PD?

UAE has built in CD32 functionality, but the 'Akiko' I was referring to is a specific CD32 front end for UAE that does all the config work for you. There seem to be some doubts over it's legailty now though!
