Title: Amiga 1200 PSU to fit Amiga 500???

Hello! I've found a generous soul who is going to donate me a new power supply for my Amiga 500- but it's an Amiga 1200 power supply.... will that work???

Yes, a1200 and a500 and a600 have exactly the same power connector. A1200 PSU's are less juicy than A500 PSU's though. I don't know if this might cause problems if you have a lot of junk hanging on your A500.

For beefy A1200's it's recommended to find a more powerfull PSU like the A500 one ;-).
