Get a 2nd hand A1200. It's so much better. The A600 is a hell to expand, and the expanding possibilities are quite limited.

Hmm, the A600.

/me envisages the dents in the desk where fingers have attempted to type on the numeric keypad :)

Have a look here (http://www.amiga600.de) - A600 with 10Gb HDD, Ethernet, ATX PSU, 68030/40Mhz, 32Mb RAM - and all somehow fitting in the original case :-)

But even he says that  buying a 1200 is obviously  better.  Just read about how the accelerator fits on (there is no chip holder, so an upside-down chip holder fits over the top of the original CPU :-D

I´ll also say go for the 2nd hand A1200, they are cheap to buy, cheap to expand (Well not compared to a PC - but who wants one anyway??), in many ways better than an A600 (Allthough an A600 is  a cool machine - my first, still got feelings you know:) ).
