My latest, rather worrying landscape is made from six months worth of paracetamol packets:

J - F - C :-o
You mean you ate that much painkillers in half a year!??! Man, that indeed is worrying... :-(
-
Actually quite a lot more, those are just the ones I remembered to save... :-/
I'm going to show it to my doctor next time so maybe he'll take my complaint more seriously.
-
And you did not visit a doctor?? :-o
-
Dude, are you sure you are not addicted or something? That *can't* be healthy. Why do you eat so much (that is if you don't mind me asking)?
-
I had an operation on my ear (mastoidectomy) to remove some infected bone. Which appears to have worked, but it hurts like hell. The op was November 2001, the pain started to get really bad a few months later so I went and asked about it but the guy I saw (he wasn't the surgeon who carried out the procedure) basically shrugged it off and gave me some anti-imflammatory drops, which didn't help at all.
When I last went I actually got to see the guy who did this and he said it might be toothache and that even though it feels like it's my ear, it could be a dental problem. Which is a fair observation, but it's not the vague, unfocussed pain you might expect given that. It's sharp and it's right below the scarred skin.
It sucks, because I can't concentrate on anything, I get really impatient because of the pain. I think I am dependant... At least on a mental level.
-
just in case there is any dental issues AT all, try using some hydrogen peroxide to rinse and brush with. sometimes a little germs in the mouth will affect the ears. it's weird but it's been known to happen.
always clean your teeth immediately after eating, as to not let any bacteria accumulate.
natural solutions are often the best. help your body heal itself by taking antioxydants (fruits, vitamin supliments if you think you need them).
fish reduces inflamation (the omega3 fats, anyway)
-
And get well soon.
-
Thank you. :-)
That aside, what do you think of it, as a piece of art?
-
yes
it has a clear message.

very evocative of a beautiful cool nite in manhatten where the towers become magic and twinkle like the stars as they try to touch each other.
-
That's one cool piece of art, but I doubt it was fun to get the raw materials for it! :-)
Get well, dude!

Dude, pay your dentist a visit (just to check) and seek a second opinion, its the only way. If your taking that many painkillers then there is obviously something wrong, that much paracetamol is really bad for your liver, not to mention your poor kidneys. If the pain is really bad, you might want to try a stonger pain killer, something along the lines of Morphine may help :-D, seriously, you may want to try and anti-inflamatory like ibuprofen, just as bad for you, but you may find you need less of it. However, that is only a temporary solution, you need it fixed, so as I said, seek a second opinion. And above all else, get well soon :-)

I daren't touch ibuprofen, 'cause my mum used to use it a lot, and she got Stevens Johnson Syndrome (link (http://www.sjsupport.org/)). Given that I share a few other allergies with her, I'd rather not risk that.

Codeine is good, but it is quite strong. I personally prefer Aspirin, seems to be quite effective, although it eats away at your stomach lining, its all catch 22.

I use a combination of Codine and Asprin.
But no where near as much as what I saw in the pic :-o

There certainly was a lot, as I said, if a person needs that much, there is most definately something wrong.

Surely that crap causes brain damage.

Nah...it just eats away your liver, if you try to od on paracetamol it takes around 48 hours to kill your liver, the rest of your body follows soon after, quite a slow way to go really, don't know why people even attempt that method.

Therefore it DOES damage your brain! :-P
@TPG
Donate it to the a local gallery - and tell them the story behind it. :-)
(They always love that kind of stuff)
