Hi
I have a problem with Windows 98, old notebook and dual monitor setup.
I have built-in LCD monitor (primary screen) and external CRT monitor (secondary screen).
Windows 98 is setup to use both monitor as separate display/screen (display 1 and 2).
Recently Monitor 1 (LCD) is dead/blank, but the CRT still function.
I want to switch from dual monitor mode to single (both dead LCD and CRT display the same screen), but I cannot do it because the LCD is dead.
Any idea how to solve this problem?
Thank you.

Most laptops have a button or switch that will change the display to copied, instead of seperate. For most IBMs and Toshibas, it's Fn+F4 or Fn+F5. (it's a picture of monitor above the proper F-key.
Also, closing the laptop will often cause screen two to start displaying screen 1's information.
And, if neither of those work, boot windows in safe mode. It doesn't have dual monitor support in safe mode, so both displays have to be the same. ;-)
