Heh, it's fun. I'm an uncle twice now :-). Though babies are crap when they're at the 'only-eating-and-shitting-age' they get a lot more fun later on :-). My oldest niece is three now.

Heh, that age was never fun for me, it was fun for people visiting us... but it was a nightmare for us. When they're old enough to carry a conversation they're fun. Younger than that, and they feel like human pets :-D

Well, her and Iain (her other half) were the ones who told me, so I think she knows :-)
I don't think it's really sunk in yet, but I'm seeing her on Friday (my dad's early retirement do, he's only 55) so she might be a bit more emotional then :-D
