Title: Unknown FlickerFixer card
Post by: melott on June 07, 2004, 11:08:25 PM
I just bought this flickerfixer card.......
I've never heard of this company, I've checked the
usual places Amiga-hardware, Amigahardware data,
and a google search, nothing.

The card is ........

"Spy Pond Systems"
 "AGA 2000"

It has a 9 pin monitor connector ( I assume I need a 9 to 15 pin adaptor).
There is also an L bracket with what look like grounding
straps and a white wire coming off a resister,( I have no idea what the wire is for.
There is also a small adjustable Pot ( I assume for adjusting video out).

Does anyone have any info on this card ??
Or where to look ??

As usual.. any help will be greatly appreciated

Hmm...  Sounds like it is a slightly modified version of this card I found on Amiga-hardware....
Microway flicker fixer AGA-2000 (http://www.amiga-hardware.com/microway.html)

The soldered wire is probably just for a signal ground, to improve video output.

On the bottom of the card it does say Microway...
Didn't notice that.......

Thanks

Yup ... its a MicroWay card.

I'd still like to know what this extra wire is
for. The picture on Amiga-Hardware doesn't show
any wire. Its at the bottom of the card just above
the slot connector. The resister is marked 'R14'.
It looks like someone added it on, but for what reason ??
Any ideas ??
