I've done it... i've just got off the phone from Eyetech having ordered myself a brand spanking new AmigaONE XE G4 800!

I was going to wait until OS4 was out, but having the case, keyboard, mouse, hard disk, and graphics card just sitting there was too unbearable  :-D

Oh well... back to waiting again...

Damnit, I'm really getting envious of all you individuals purchasing A1s ;-).  *Sighs* ... no A1 for me until June at the earliest. Oh well perhaps we will then see the dual cpu A1s :-D .

Eyetech said it could be a couple of weeks, could be a month or so. They said they just got a shipment in, but they've got a lot of orders to send out before mine...

Don't remind me :) I hate linux, so the AmigaONE is going to be my second computer for a few months. I'll just use it to burn CDs, and view sites that need CSS until OS4 arrives.

OOooooh! I'm all excited now! I love it when a new toy is on the way...  :-D

What's the difference between ordering it now rather than
during the EarlyBird offer (which ended at new year's eve I
believe)?

They extended the earlybird until the end of january, so I got it just in time. After january, OS4 is an extra £60 or so.

Me too.  I'm going to wait for os4 also, mainly because I'm not a coder or that technically adept.  Just an average user who will be needing to upgrade to a better machine here in the future.  My AMD-K6 machine is starting to show here age. :-P

I was told a coupla weeks when I ordered mine (this very morning !).
Glad to hear about the Earlybird still being on though.
what RAM / Gfx have you gone for ?
I had the 512Meg Kingston from Eyetech, and also the Radeon 7000VE.   :-D

Yeah, I ordered 512Mb of RAM when I ordered the AOne, and I have a Radeon 7500 already waiting at home.
