Title: Airball WHDLoad!

Since Back2Roots is hosting this game (But a JST version) Which does NOT work on all 4 of my Amiga computers (loads but cannot start game, hangs at title with music), can someone please send me a WHDLoad version to try?

   I had the same problem before. It was a JST startup as well. My solution, If you've downloaded already the WHDLoad32.lha and dearchived it, I'm sure the 'WHDload' file(executable) is already in your c: by then. After which, go to the drawer 'Airball' and look for the icon and select it by clicking it once only, then right-click and select info. Check the 'default tool' I assume it would be 'JST'. Change it to 'C:WHDLoad'. Then save it.
  After saving, you're now ready to doubl-click it. Hope that helps.


Err... I also forgot to mension 'Tools' window, make sure  the contents would be:

SLAVE=AIRBALL.Slave
Preload

Yes indeed I got my nick from Robocop!!  I think it was a one time thing for the movie, it was not a real show. :P

Sadly the JST Airball is not a disk image so the WHDLoad trick does not work.  I need a original disk to play it I guess.  Unless someone wants to WHDLoad it and send it off to Back2Roots.org since they already have it and it is freeware!

Somewhere in my collection I have a beta of Airball that Abbadon (not the one we know, Ryu, but rather Keith Krellwitz) was having me test (along with that beat-em-up w/the rabbit and other animals - can't recall the name offhand). I think it worked fine here, but it used a much older WHDLoad. I've been regged since forever, so can't recall what specific version it played nice under. I know it's definitely not any of the OSEmu versions or the newest ones.

If I remember correctly, he was in a bit of a hurry for some feedback and sent me the whole thing, WHDLoad exe, disk images and all. Shortly thereafter his main HDD died, and he lost EVERYTHING he had been working on.

I'll look around here for it. Perhaps I'll shoot it over in Bert's direction to see if it could be hosted at whdload.de or at least adapted to the new system.

BTW, Ryu/TjLaZeR, this is Cyber2th... just in case you didn't know already. :)
