Can the old original amiga floppy disks be played on new pc's?

Not without an emulator (WinUAE) and a piece of hardware called the Catweasel MK3. Even then it's questionable if things will still work, depending on software support and the disks' copy protection system.
The AmigaExplorer utility from Cloanto's Amiga Forever package is another option. You'll need an actual Amiga for that, though.
