Title: wanted-amiga a1200 in the uk area
Post by: demo187 on May 28, 2004, 07:05:23 PM: does anyone have an amiga a1200 for sale in the uk or any outher amiga for that matter?

i would prefere it if the seller lived in the newcastle area so that i can collect the system.

Post by: Etho on May 28, 2004, 07:19:50 PM: I have an A1200 with 3.1 roms but it's in a rag-tag state! It all works mind! The problem is I'm in Liverpool. I don't know if you could organize a pickup but if you can it's yours for nothing.

I don't live there, but my < plug type=blatent > UK Usergroup map < /plug > suggests NEAUG (I don't have a site or location for them though)

I met several "North East Amiga Group" members there.

I even got a flyer which reads:

"NEAUG

Meets on the last Tuesday of every month.
7.30pm in the Newcastle Arms, St Andrews Street,
Newcastle upon Tyne"

they seem like a bunch of cool guys....I never managed to attend one of their meetings though, too busy with work

oh and i am very,very greatful and i will take good care of it i am planning on restoreing it to its origonal state.

is there anything i should know about it? like broken/missing parts etc?
